Which computer should you select for content creation?

All universities, museums, and other institutions face the problem of what computer should they buy today and tomorrow? PC or Macintosh?

We asked representatives of each company (PC and Apple) to give their presentations. Each stated their product was the fastest and best in all respects and definitely superior to the competing platform
facilities.

Dr. Hellmuth working with the Mac G4 and not a PC, I can't comment much on what its like to use a PC, but I can definitely say that each of my Macintosh G4s freezes, crashes, and grinds to a halt several times a day without fail. I waste inordinate amount of time restarting the system. I use OS 9, something or other. It is as unstable as all previous versions. Whether Mac OS X is better is not a realistic choice since I have already lost so much time and stress to the previous many years.
