Dilli (D.G.I.) NeoDeluxe UVD-2506 UV-cured ink flatbed printer

UV-flatbed printers from Taiwan and Korean tend to be three years ahead of UV printers from Mainland China . This is one way to say that we have noticed that the Dilli and DGI Neojet UV-curable ink flatbed printers appear to be better constructed and have more useful features than UV-cured wide format flatbed inkjet printers from China.

Dilli Precision Ind. Co., Ltd offers their Neoplus UV-curable inkjet flatbed, Neo Deluxe, and Neojet UV wide format printers. We have inspected these printers at many trade shows and have written our own FLAAR Reports to assist our readers.

A new model UV-curable inkjet flatbed printer is the Dilli Neo Venus. This report should be available by early January 2008, based on inspecting the Dilli factory in Korea.

For an independent assessment on these Korean printers, FLAAR covers both the Dilli and DGI UV printers in our FLAAR Reports on UV flatbed printers. D.G.I and Dilli are sibling companies (owed by two brothers). D.G.I. has been making solvent printers for many years. I have inspected printshops that have D.G.I. printers over six years old that still print every day today (2008).

In these FLAAR Reports we comment on the former US distributor, S.I.M., Steward of International Marketing, on the then current US distributor (2006), Neo Digital, and now Agfa sells the same Dilli NeoDelux printers under it's own Agfa brand (:Anapurna L, XL, :Anapurna M, etc). However Dilli still exhibits either on its own (ISA '07) or shares a booth with D.G.I. (Shanghai). Dilli now has new distributors for the US.

Recently it was possible to visit the headquarters and factory of IP&I (Cube 260uv and 1606), another of the several manufacturers of UV-cured wide-format inkjet flatbed printers in Korea. Two publications have resulted so far.

A few months later it was possible to visit Dilli and D.G.I. so we can familiarize ourselves with their various kinds of printers. For example, D.G.I. is one of the few companies that still makes an oil-based printer.
