Digital Photonics Corp, DPC, COJET

DPC (Digital Photonics Corp) manufactures the COJET flatbed printer and the AJET, combo printer (that moves media with a transport belt). But this entire corporate group (Anderson Group) has just recently begun to exhibit at European and US trade shows. The printers were exhibited by Giben in Germany at FESPA Hamburg 2011, and by Integra Technologies at SGIA 2011.
So, even if we have not had the opportunity to visit the manufacturing plant to write a full evaluation on these printers, we have gathered what little information is available and are updating this web page. The main portion of our information, however, we don't put on the web pages, we save for the special FLAAR Reports. We have discussed these printers in the following TRENDs Reports: APPPEXPO Shanghai 2010, APPPEXPO Shanghai 2011, D-PES Dongguan 2011, FESPA Hamburg 2011 and SGIA 2011.
During 2011-2012 we are concentrating on learning more about all Korean, mainland Chinese, and Taiwan UV-curable flatbed inkjet printers. We now offer the most comprehensive information on the UV, solvent, and textile printers manufactured in Korea, China, and Taiwan in the FLAAR Reports.

Even when a lot of Chinese printer manufacturers are rushing into the affordable Spectra Polaris heads, DPC continues with printheads primarily from KonicaMinolta. KonicaMinolta heads have a good reputation. No major embarrassing issues have been widely reported for KonicaMinolta printheads, in distinction to the issues with Ricoh printheads in the ill-fated ColorSpan 5440uv series.
Head office and factory of the Anderson Industrial Corp. is in Taiwan. But there is also an Anderson America, Europe, Singapore, and China. Their Andi COJET-2412-720 was the dedicated flatbed that is featured on their Anderson America web site as of 2012.
This company makes CNC routers and in cooperation with DPC (Digital Photonics Corp) they started to make first flatbed UV printers and then combo printers with moving transport belt.
The company's website is significantly better now compared to the poor funcionality presented a number of years ago.
Fieldcenter is a dealer in Taiwan that sells Seiko ColorPainter H-104s and other Seiko printers. They also sell the TexPress textile printer from Japan and a rebranded UV printer from Digital Photonics Corp. Fieldcenter calls their flatbed the Formosa FCP-2412.

Please realize that we tend to update a page (or a PDF) primarily when it is clear that our readers ask about this brand or model frequently. With over 45 brands of UV printers and over 200 models in the past ten years, it is not realistic to update pages on obsolete brands or unpopular models.
